When it comes to things that make my heart melt, a man wearing a baby is hard to beat. Even more so when that man is the most amazing father, my wonderful husband.
Following are just a few of the reasons I think all dads should wear their babies.
#1 - Adventures
They are so much better when you can explore the world at the same level together. Watching a father and his child share in these discoveries is a wonderful thing.
#2 - Comfort and convenience
On a chilly spring day there is no better place for a child than snuggled against dad, it is also a great way to keep a toddler happy while your older child continues picking daffodils to her hearts content.
#3 - The obvious - Multitasking
Babywearing is the ultimate multitasking tool for fathers it enables them to spend quality time with their little ones even while they do outside jobs. In all seriousness though I find that if dad is at work all week it is good when every moment they can possibly spend with the kids is used.
#4 - That special bond
Wearing a child close to you helps to create an extra special bond. Babywearing is especially helpful when the baby seems to be forever attached to mum, it helps dad to have that all important special time with baby. Indigo is now 2.5 years old and still loves being worn in the sling she is definitely a daddy's girl.
With another baby only 11 weeks new I'm looking forward to a few more years of special Babywearing dad moments :)
